⚠️ Important:
DO NOT delete your Pray.com account. Deleting your account often does not cancel your subscription, which may result in continued billing/subscription. Keep your account active until after your subscription is successfully canceled. We're here to assist you.
Step 1: Identify Your Subscription Type
First, check your bank or credit card statement. If you see "Pray.com" as the charge, your subscription was purchased directly through us (not through the App Store or Google Play).
You have one of two subscription types:
- Give and Go Ad-Free Plan (also called "donation") - This plan allows members to give/donate to our partner ministry, and with the donation, members get a complimentary ad-free account
- Regular Premium Subscription
Step 2: Cancel Based on Your Plan Type
If you have the Give and Go Ad-Free Plan (Donation):
- Open the Pray.com app
- Go to Settings
- Select Manage Donation
- Follow the prompts to cancel
If you have a Regular Premium Subscription:
- Go to https://www.pray.com/login
- Log in with your account credentials (email used for the subscription)
- Navigate to Manage Subscription
- You'll see:
- Confirmation that you have a premium account
- Your renewal or expiration date
- Option to cancel your subscription
- Click the cancel option and follow the prompts
What if the charge shows Apple or Google instead of Pray.com?
If your statement shows charges from Apple or Google Play instead of Pray.com, your subscription was purchased through the app store. You'll need to cancel directly through:
- Apple/iPhone: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Pray.com → Cancel
- Google/Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Pray.com → Cancel
